Texas Flood is a rock and power blues band with a real Texican flavour. The sound is heavily influenced by some of the greatest rhythm & blues men that the world has ever seen - the unequalled technique and fluidity of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the legendary style and innovative work of Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, BB King, Little Feat and a multitude of other names that have helped shaped the sound of the real R&B over the past 50 years.
Founded back in the summer of 1998, Texas Flood are a mix of many differing musical styles and influences including jazz, ska, rock and of course blues. We play hard, rocking blues so be prepared for a hostage situation down at your local soon.
Texas Flood played at the Palais des Congres in Paris, France, opening for the Great James Brown, a great experience in front of 4000 people. We also played at the Cafe de Paris in London UK, supporting the Legendary Chuck Berry, it was a blast!!
